Mudshakes are available in 7 flavours that can be enjoyed hot or cold. They can be mixed together to create a unique taste experience or can be enjoyed in milkshakes, in coffee or over your favorite ice cream. This unique, one of a kind decadent taste experience is priced at a great value and considered the number one Imported Cocktail across Canada. Mudshakes continue to grow in a category that struggles to replicate percentage increases.

I bought the Irish Cream MUDSHAKE it reminded me of any other cream drink. Rich, tasty and sweet.

ALIVE G-Free Vodka Drink

I am definitely in the "I don't drink" category...but on occasion (once a year) I like to enjoy a fruity girly drink!

Low-carb dieters in Canada may be interested in ALIVE, a new 80-calorie, zero-carbohydrate vodka-based drink.

Describing the product as having a “crisp, not-too-sweet taste,” distributors Independent Distillers Canada say their goal is a healthier drink. It’s gluten-free and sweetened with sucralose to avoid aspartame’s health concerns. Flavors include grapefruit, lemon lime and mixed berry.

Finally!! A sugar-free, gluten-free, low calorie Vodka Mixed Beverage in the
ready-to-drink category with 3 flavours to choose from. This fruity trio makes consumers aware of health conscious products and
enables them to take personal responsibility for their health and wellness. The 300ml can attracts diet drinkers and takes a sophisticated approach to this healthy alternative.

Health conscious individuals; consumers looking for sugar free alternatives;
female and male. Diabetics: there are over 2 million Canadians living with Diabetes who wish to reduce their sugar intake and ALIVE provides that alternative.
Celiacs: Alive is completely Gluten-free.

Flavour: Lime, Grapefruit
& Mixed Berry

Gluten Free Choices from Campbell Soup

Click on the title to go to their web site for more details.

I know I will go and stock up on some of these products. I have bought only one since going G-Free because I didn't realize there were more.

It would be nice to have something cheap on hand that I can just warm up for myself to eat at lunch or on those busy days when there is absolutely no time to prepare the time consuming G-Free meals.

Now I must go and revamp my mother and grandmother's recipes!

Have a Great Week!

Gluten Free Chicken Pot Pie

Chicken Pot Pie Gluten Free Style!
I made the broth. Then I made the broth into a stew and then I made the pie crust. This was a big job and took almost the entire Sunday but I did it, it was delicious. Even the family members whom eat gluten daily and have tasted my gluten pie crust from way back in the day agreed that it was an amazing supper top to bottom beginning to end!

Making this dough was very easy I was pleasantly surprised. I did make a mistake when I didn't flatten the dough before putting it in the fridge. This step was in the recipe. I'll tell you time and time again I end up not following the recipe or the directions and I have learned to make sure to follow each step with G-Free baking and cooking!

Once I struggled with it to losen up some so that I could roll it out, it was fine.

Into the oven it went and the out come was amazing. No one knew it was G-Free I was very surprised that a g-free dough could taste so good. We devoured it one sitting and we all had guilt-free seconds! Lucky for me I divided the chicken mixture and the dough so I could get two meals out of this large batch. It was a lot of work but totally worth it!!!

I think you can still see the bubbles from cooking in the oven. We wrapped it up and off we went to Grandma's house to share our yummy supper!

This is definitely a comfort food and it will take a spot in my new and growing G-Free recipe box!

This recipe is from The 125 Best Gluten Free Reciepes.
